MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING St Agnes’ Senior Group would like to thank all the parishioners for their generosity and support during their Macmillan Coffee Morning. The total amount raised was £335!!

The Parish of St Oliver Plunkett is seeking to recruit a Secretary on a part-time basis, 25 hours per week – work pattern to be agreed. Details relating to the vacancy can be found on the Diocesan website from 21st September 2018, by clicking on the tab: JOB VACANCIES. It can also be found on the Community NI website. Terms and Conditions relating to the role can be accessed there, together with the Job Description and Employment Application form. Application packs are also available from the Parish Office of St Oliver Plunkett Parish. Applications are welcome from anyone who feels they meet the criteria and are interested in playing an active part within the Parish. Closing date for receipt of applications will be 12.00 noon on Friday 5th October 2018.

Sunday 7th October at 8.00pm Dedication of Studies Mass Celebrated by Bishop Noel Treanor Catholic Chaplaincy, QUB, Elmwood Avenue Student, parents and visitors welcome

Sunday October 7th Ireland together with the UK, the USA, Poland and other countries will form a Holy League of Nations. We will gather on our coasts and borders to pray the Rosary. LEGION OF MARY ROSARY PROCESSION, SUNDAY 7TH OCTOBER 2018 On Sunday 7th October 2018. The Annual Legion Of Mary Rosary Procession will take place. The procession leaves St. Johns Church, Falls Road, at 3pm and will process to St Michael the Archangel Church where there will be a short service of Benediction. Refreshments will be available afterwards. Rosary beads and leaflets provided. All are welcome. Please gather at St Johns church at 2.45pm.

INTRODUCTION OF THE PERMANENT DIACONATE On Sunday 14th October we will celebrate the Ordination to the Permanent Diaconate of 9 men from our Diocese, We ask God’s blessing on all our new Deacons and their families. Flyers about the Permanent Diaconate, including a prayer, are available to take home.

VOLUNTEERING“Unique volunteering opportunities for Retired Teachers to provide 1:1 support to children with additional educational needs in primary schools in your area.  One morning per week is required for a minimum of 15 weeks and full induction will be provided.  Please contact Kate at Sólás on 02890 247600, or email for further details and information pack”.
