SALE OF GRAVES The Parish of Glenavy and Killead have a limited number of Burial Rights available in the graveyard of St Joseph’s Church, Chapel Road, Glenavy. This is a secluded and well tended graveyard in the countryside just outside Glenavy village. The burial ground is described as a ‘Graveyard’ as opposed to a ‘Cemetery’ since it is attached to St Joseph’s Church.  The cost of the burial right will be similar to that in Milltown Cemetery and reflects that purchasers are not, or are not expected to become contributing members of the local parish community.  Each grave will take up to three interments. Application forms are available from the Parish Office  Tel, 94422278 Mon- Fri 10.00-3.00pm.
