NOVENA PRAYERS
PRAYER OF INTERCESSION
Ever Immaculate Virgin, Mother of Mercy, health of the sick, refuge of sinners, comfort of the afflicted, you know our wants, our troubles, our sufferings. Look on us with love and pity. You appeared at the Grotto of Lourdes and made it a holy sanctuary of prayer and healing grace. Many sufferers have already been healed in soul and body. We come, therefore, with complete confidence to implore your intercession. Most Loving Mother, obtain for us the graces we seek. We will endeavour always to imitate your virtues that we may one day rejoice with you in the glory of heaven. Amen.

PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of your Son in the Eucharist; and the gift of your Spirit in our lives. We thank you for sending us your Son, Jesus, born of the Virgin Mary. We are grateful for the many gifts we have received through her intercession, and we especially thank you for the many gifts of healing. In our gratitude may we share your gifts with those whose lives we touch and so make our homes and parishes places of healing and peace. We make this prayer through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
