Hearing loss? Action on Hearing loss runs a free Hear to Meet group at Harvester House Court,4-8 Adelaide Street, Belfast, BT2 8GA. The next session is scheduled for Friday 7 February from 10.30am to 12.30pm. St. Brigid’s Day Lecture, Thursday 20th February 2014 at 7.30pm in St Brigid’s Church, Windsor Avenue, Belfast. Speaker: Fr Timothy Radcliffe, O.P., a member of the Dominican Community, Blackfriars, Oxford and was Master of the Order, 1992 — 2001. He is the author of a number of books and is internationally renowned as a teacher, preacher and speaker.  He will, in his lecture, reflect on new paths for the Church’s journey in the light of Pope Francis’ recent document “ The Joy of the Gospel” (Evangelii Gaudium).

The West Belfast Historical Society is meeting in the Falls Park Pavillion on Friday 14th February at 7.30pm. (Entrance to the Park is via gate opposite Maguire’s Garage Just follow the road by the river along to Pavilion Car Park). This months Topic is “SHIP BUILDING IN BELFAST” the speaker will be Mr John Lynch.
