ST AGNES’ ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER: Will be held on Sunday15th December in the Ballymac Hotel from 1.15pm-5.30pm. ( Bus will be leave after the 12.30pm Mass sharp to arrive in time for 1.15pm ) All pensioners of the parish who wish to attend please register your name and meal choice (Turkey & Ham or Fish (Cod) Pavlova or Pudding ) with Kate or Vincent in the Parish Office or Sacristy. ANNUAL MASS FOR THE BEREAVED Will be held in St Agnes’ Church on Monday 11th November at 7.00pm, followed by refreshments in the Parish Centre (St Agnes Drive) Whilst the friends and family of those that have died this past year will receive a personal invitation, all parishioners, and especially those bereaved, are welcome to attend .

MEETING An evening of prayer and reflection for Choir members, Readers and Eucharistic Ministers will be held in the Church on Wednesday 13th November at 7pm and will be led by Deacon Greg Mc Guigan. Please all come along.

NOVEMBER – Month of the Holy Souls Many people choose to abstain from alcohol for the month of November and offer up their sacrifice for their deceased loved ones. YOU CAN DO LIKEWISE. Take the short term Pledge for November and say the Prayer daily – I promise in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with the help of the Blessed Virgin Mary to abstain from all alcoholic drink during November”.

IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS! “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Concert by St Colmcille’s & St Joseph’s primary school choir & renowned Soprano Marion Jordan on Sunday 15th December 2019 @ 5.00pm. Venue: St Colmcille’s Church, 191 Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast BT4 3JB. Light refreshments will be served afterwards in the Parochial Hall. Escape the hustle and enjoy the uplifting celebration of Advent & Christmas. If you can’t experience this magical evening in person why not watch it on our webcam live or the recording.  Hope to see you there!

Anam Cara Belfast, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding it’s monthly Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Wednesday 13th November at 7:20pm in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belfast, BT8 7XP. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not.

A date for your diary!! Carol Service, led by our local schools on Tuesday 3rd December at 7pm, St Oliver Plunkett Parish . Please support this event. ( More details to follow

First Saturday Devotion of Reparation as requested by Our Lady of Fatima will take place in St Joseph’s Church, Killough, Chapel Street, BT30 7QJ on Saturday 2nd November: Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament 8.30am; Sacrament of Reconciliation from 8.30 to 9.45am; Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 9.00am; Meditation on the Mysteries of the Rosary at 9.30am, Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 10.00am.

VACANCY – PASTORAL/ADMINISTRATRATION ASSISTANT St John the Evangelist Parish, Falls Road, Belfast is seeking to recruit a Pastoral/Administration Assistant who will represent the parish, and assist the Parish Priest in mission and pastoral care, by working with those in the parish who require spiritual and practical support. The role holder will also be required to provide confidential, efficient and effective administrative support to the Parish Priest and Parish Manager, as well as assistance to visitors and parishioners who visit or make contact with the parish office.
